Your critical and private data is encrypted before it is stored in our databases within our secure data center (read below). It is highly unlikely that your data would be compromised and get into the hands of anyone malicious. In the highly unlikely event that someone malicious is able to access our databases; any critical data would likely be worthless, as it would take a very long and complex key-code to unlock the encryption. How secure are your offices and data center? Information we collect about you is stored in very reliable and secure databases. All our databases and other servers are located in a digitally alarmed data center, to which no unauthorized personnel have access to. No third-parties are able to enter our data center without a close escort from an employee with security clearance. Outside janitorial companies and their employees are prevented from entering our data center and all offices within the TangoWire premises. TangoWire's office complex is monitored 24 hours each day, every day of the year, by multiple security personnel. How secure is your network and Internet connections? Our Internet connections are provided by some of the most reputable and security conscious providers in the world. Once any network traffic arrives at our data center, it is first scrubbed and filtered by our very secure and reliable firewall. Very few network ports are open to the public - only those necessary to serve Web pages and allow limited access to other servers (mail, DNS, etc.). We have created, maintain, and monitor a log that records information about anyone attempting to circumvent our network. Large blocks of network addresses and traffic from locations, countries, or regions known for fraudulent, malicious, or criminal activity are blocked by our network security tools. How secure and updated is your server software? Unlike other companies, TangoWire has created its own proprietary Web, mail, and DNS server software and technology. This radical and ambitious development project was undertaken to ensure our members', partners' and affiliates’ security. With the many and constant security holes, required patches, and backdoors found within the most popular software products, we felt we could no longer risk using it in our environment. Any server software operating systems (Windows, Macintosh, etc.) are constantly monitored for updates and are, however, natively protected by our extensive firewall systems. What if your privacy policy changes? If the privacy policies provided herein are changed in a way that would materially affect our members, partners, or affiliates, we will post those changes within this page immediately and notify you as appropriate. |
